The Charter of Care Recipients’ Rights and Responsibilities – Home Care (the Charter)This Charter is contained in the User Rights Principles 2014 under the Aged Care Act 1997. It sets out the legislated rights and responsibilities relating to consumers of aged care services from approved aged care providers.

The Charter is now available in 18 commonly used languages in Australia: Arabic, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Croatian, Dutch, German, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Italian, Korean, Macedonian, Maltese, Polish, Russian, Serbian, Spanish and Vietnamese.
